The Foundation enters 2021 with great enthusiasm for its mission to help disadvantaged kids in the Spokane and Coeur D’ Alene region. Last year was a challenging year for all of us, but due to a lack of resources, it was especially difficult for disadvantaged children. However, as we have turned the page in 2021, the future looks brighter than ever. • Grant Reporting | Believe in Me

Essential guide for Believe in Me grant recipients on impact reporting: deadlines, documentation, and tips for accountability. Grant Impact Reporting Impact Reporting Dates We’ve received feedback that our previous impact reporting schedule didn’t always align well with the actual start and end dates of your programs, creating confusion and extra work. To address this, we’ve made some changes to streamline the process and make your reporting easier and more straightforward. These updates will help ensure that your reports align more accurately with your program timeline, reducing stress and simplifying the submission process. To determine your reporting dates, enter the start and end dates of your program in the application. If your program lasts more than 4 months, you will need to submit two reports: the first on the last day of the month after the halfway point, and the second at the end of your program. If your program is less than 4 months, only one report is due at the end of the month following your program’s end. Receipts are required. Example 1: Start date 1/1/2025, end date 12/31/2025—reports due on 7/31/2025 and 1/31/2026. Example 2: Start date 6/1/2025, end date 8/30/2025—report due on 9/30/2025. Impact Reporting Info Session Grant recipients are a vital part of any funding structure, and their accountability and transparency are essential in maintaining trust and efficiency in the process. John believes in creating opportunities through hard work and research and utilizes his confidence and abilities to develop a strong network of satisfied customers and clients. Before joining NAI Black, he worked for several Seattle and Puget Sound-based companies where he specialized in retail leasing and restaurant business, including a commercial real estate company he co-founded in Bellevue, WA. At that company, he was the Marketing Manager and Director of restaurant sales. He was responsible for taking the company from a small office start-up to being recognized as one of Washington's industry leaders in restaurant sales. Despite his impressive professional accomplishments, what truly sets John apart is his big heart and commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. We are grateful for John's support and generosity. He is a shining example of how we can all make a difference in the world by using our talents and resources to support causes close to our hearts. Thank you, John, for being a part of the Believe in Me family and for your commitment to creating a brighter future for marginalized youth. Volunteers Julia Parmann was more than just a volunteer; she was a vibrant and passionate person who left a lasting impact on those around her. As a Believe in Me volunteer, we were very saddened to learn that she passed away shortly after our 2022 golf tournament, but her legacy lives on through her work with the Blazen Divaz. She deeply loved parades and had been involved in them since she was a child.
