Trauma-Informed Care & Confidentiality
We understand that many of the youth we serve have experienced trauma or are under special privacy protections as wards of the state. Our program takes confidentiality seriously, and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of privacy for both the youth and their families. We work directly with social workers and legal guardians to ensure:
-
Informed consent is obtained before any media is used for promotional purposes.
-
We follow HIPAA, FERPA, and state child welfare laws to protect sensitive information.
-
We adopt a trauma-informed approach, ensuring that all communication and follow-up respects the emotional well-being of the child
At Believe in Me, we are committed to creating a future where every child has the confidence and resources to succeed. Whether you are a family in need, a community partner, or a supporter, we invite you to join us in making a difference through the Youth Empowerment Sponsorship Program.
